NOTD: Dark purple and glitter gradient

Pointed nails and a vampy color to start off the spooky manicures.

I decided to switch things up a bit. Since I want to start doing some Halloween themed manis, I decided to slowly get myself into the season, I first did that by shaping my nails to almond tips ( sides filed to get a point in the middle.) I wanted something sweet, glistening, yet vampire-esque. That’s where the sheer glitter and dark purple come into play.

For this manicure, I used two coats on OPI Last Friday Night on each nail. Then using a cosmetic sponge, I sponged on one coat of Avon’s Midnight Plum about halfway up the nail. Then I did another coat, but focusing on the tips, which gives a gradient effect. Then I used a topcoat to blend in the colors better, which gives a smoother transition.
